Even though I'm really a red wine girl, the weather has been so sweltering recently, I have been enjoying quite a bit of cold white as well. Today, I am cracking open the Ceja Bella Rosa Rosé, which is a beautiful clear deep hibiscus color. This lovely bottle was a sample sent by my friends at WineQ, with no deadlines or strings attached ;-) Upon opening, I smelled strawberries, as if I were running through a field of wild ones. The first taste reminded me of those strawberry sodas from when I was kid, but in a good way! It also had a ton of tart cranberry and juicy ripe fruit, with a crisp finish touched by raspberries. Perfect for a still warm summer evening!

Color: Darker cherry Nose: Strawberry with some nice herbal elements then some cherry and celery seed Palate: Quite good, a bit on the fuller side for a rosé, with wonderful fruit and good acidity that belies the ripeness of the fruit. Finishes long with juicy strawberry that carries for quite some time. Tasty! Please see my full review at WineLog.net: http://www.winelog.net/wines/wine/42136/

Beautiful deep dark pink in color, this is one of the prettiest wines in the glass you will see. The nose offered a variety of crabapple and strawberry with a definite floral component. The pallatte is very bright, acidic, and refreshing. Flavors of apple, strawberry and a heavy dose of pomegranite with a hint of a flower garden mixed in. Finished strong but not hot. Has a very smooth elegance to it. Was an excellent complement to the grilled shrimp with sun-dried tomato alfredo over fettucine we were having. Very tasty Rose'.
