From the Winery

Jeriko Estate produces hand-crafted artisan wines from 100% organically grown and certified grapes from our vineyard in beautiful southern Mendocino county - which means no chemically synthesized fertilizers or pesticides!

Established in 1997, our vintner Danny Fetzer brought modern agricultural techniques and family winemaking heritage to Jeriko Estate to create stunning wines that showcase the terroir and quality of the fruit grown on the Estate.

Today, Jeriko is proud to be a family-owned boutique winery that creates award-winning wines of exceptional quality. Practicing a tread-gently-upon-the-earth philosophy, we use the latest in winegrowing technology while respecting ancient agricultural practices.

Tasting Notes

Winemaker's Notes:
Jeriko Estate's "Old River Block" Chardonnay is the mother of this outstanding Blanc de Blanc cuvée, America's first and only sparkling wine made from certified organically grown grapes! This keenly crafted Brut is crisp and rich, with compelling fruit wrapped around a gentle almond, yeasty quality. It was produced méthode champenoise - extremely limited production - and is as unique as it is delicious.

Aromas:
Light, lemony yeast with a hint of toasted almonds.

Flavors:
Crisp citrus with a touch of hazelnut.

Finish:
Bright acid and luxurious effervescence.

Pair With:
Serve as an apéritif, with a dewy summer fruit plate or oysters on the half-shell.
