Tasting Notes
The 2004 Syrah treats you to a bouquet of flavors - ripe, black fruit and underlying spices. There's a hint of mint in the nose and again in the finish. All of this is supported by a solid, mature tannin structure. The result is a mellow blend with a touch of velvet.

Tanner Vineyard lies on a rocky, south facing slope in the Sierra foothills, in Calaveras County near Murphys. The grapes were crushed and fermented in small lots to preserve the varietal flavors.
